I have not eaten the food so I can't rate its quality because an hour and 15 minutes after the order was placed, the food is still not here. This restaurant has a $25 minimum. This is inexcusable.

Was told 25-40 min for delivery and now 90 min later, still no food. I was told it left an hour ago with other deliveries. Do I really want this cold food now? For the price I expect a full refund and left a msg with seamless

Did not pay attention to the special directions like previous orders. Disappointing, but the meal was decent.

Best ribs in BBQ alley in the Flatiron district. Great sides and the salads are even really good. Quick and correct delivery every time.

fast delivery, packaged well. don't order the s'mores, they are hardened by the time you get them, but everything else is fantastic.

Food is mediocre, but the delivery is just awful.
Delivery is always late, 1+ hour (2/3 times) and food look like a rag by time you open it. People receivng calls aren't any nicer. Obviously, delivery isn't their strong suit.

This is the second time we ordered from here. The first time was great so we ordered again this evening. The brisket was delicious, the green beans good and the spinach awesome. Delivery time was quick - about 20 minutes on a Friday evening. We will definitely order again from Wildwood.

I've ordered several times from this restaurant and generally have been satisfied. (not too many good BBQ places in NYC!). This last time, I ordered a full rack of ribs. One half the rack was very good and the other half was inedible. It was around 11:30 am and they were so dry I thought perhaps they were heated up from the night before. The waffle fries, which usually come hot, were not and were also dried out and in some cases hard. Very disappointed.

The food was phenomenal - pulled pork sandwich was fabulous, and they put the sauce on the side so the sandwich doesn't get soggy on the way to you. The cheese grits are unbelievable - the only slight let down was the mac & cheese - it could do for more cheese flavor, and the breadcrumbs seemed like they were just out of a bag. Having said that, it was not so off-putting that I wouldn't order the mac & cheese again. I will DEFINITELY be clicking reorder on this one...

Food is -mind blowing- delicious, me and my wife just ate so much we know are comatose in couch. And still we want more!
Great portions, tons of meat and potatoes are fantastic, our highest recommendations!

Pulled Pork is very good. Awful wings and apps. Overpriced. Better to just eat in. Not god take out or delivery.

Great mashed potatoes, but ribs were only average. Sauce was too spicy for my taste.

Delivery took an HOUR on a late Monday. And the food had obviously been sitting around for quite a while, as it was none too fresh. Plus the collards were disgusting.

This is as good as it gets for delivery BBQ. May take a little longer than estimated time during rush dinner hours, but overall the delivery is quick and the food is still hot when you open it. Thumbs up for this place.

Delicious. Delivery was not the quickest, but this is often the case with BBQ places. Wait was definitely worth it. Had the Three Little Pigs (all the little pigs were scrumptious) and the Shrimp Diablo. Beans were ok-ish, but seemed like they were canned with just bits of bacon added in (good bacon though). They forgot the extra BBQ sauce, but at $0.25 * 2 - not sweating the small stuff (if it matters to you, though, check). Highly recommend.

Ribs tasty and salty. Great BBQ flavor. Could be more meaty, but were filling. Delivery was quick.

Order came at periphery of time stated so although I was a little worried having read previous reviews, it all turned out okay. And - it was still warm and very very tasty. Love eating Wildwood BBQ.

They totally botched up our order. The pulled pork was virtually inedible. Most fat and gristle. There were no accompaniments so to charge $15 for a few scraps of fat and two slices of Wonder bread is a rip off.
I asked for their hot BBQ sauce for my ribs, but instead they sent Buffalo Wing sauce!?!?! Zero stars!!!

Horrible, order came 2 hrs late and cold as ice

haven't even got the food yet, I ordered 1hr and 30 minutes ago! Called after 1 hour to be told it was going to be 1 or 2 minutes, so I can't review the food yet!

WORST CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE EVER. AFTER LYING ABOUT HOW MY ORDER WAS 15MINS AWAY, THEY TOLD ME HALF HR LATER THEY WEREN'T SURE IT WAS EVER CONFIRMED...THEN 5MINS LATER TELL ME, IT WAS BEING MADE....1.5 HRS AFTER I ORDERED!!!!

A bit pricey on certain items but totally yummy

Order came over 30 minutes after the estimated time and was ice cold. All the fat had solidified around the food, and it was inedible. Would not recommend.

Tough one - though this is by no means amazing BBQ, this is by far and away the best BBQ delivery choice. The brisket was pretty dry and the pulled pork was good but not great. But the smoked chicken was amazing!!!! Really recommend it. Smoked all the way through for an intense flavour.
Beans were very good to.
Delivery was 45 minutes which, while a little over expected was still OK. They called me after delivery to ensure everything was satisfactory, which is a nice touch.

Best ribs in this part of town. They cost a bit more but there is no waste. Just order early because it will take a good while for the food to arrive.

Impressive barbeque. Best is the brisket, so much so that it's the go-to item if you're ordering here. But the ribs and wings are good too. For sides, get the mac & cheese and the beans. Creamed spinach is good but sort of conventional, the cheddar grits may be a touch too cheesy for some. Get some of the very good cornbread instead.

Epic fail. Was quoted 55-70 minutes for delivery, and after 2 hours the food arrived. Ice cold. There were a number of calls that took place, and Wildwood even told me I entered the wrong address and that's why it took so long, which was incorrect. Was told I'd receive a refund for being understanding. Still waiting for the refund. A really poor experience.

100% awesome... way better than Hill Country. These guys serve real MEAT, not some fatty cut that has a bunch of sauce on it... always pleased with Wildwood.

I'd rather be in this restaurant, eating their superior food, than anywhere else I can think of!!! Their Eggs Benedict is superior. Their pulled chicken is out of this world! Their wait staff is so sweet that I don't need sugar in my tea. LOVE WILDWOOD BBQ!!!!

Delivery took over an hour, the food was cold, soggy, and no utensils were provided even though specified in the order. Terrible experience.

2and a half hours to deliver.food came cold and soggy. worst bbq!!!
Posted 3 years ago by Andrew M.
Ordered with a 55-70 min. window, a long one to begin with. 80 minutes after, there was no sign of the delivery man. I called Wildwood, which said the food was already out. 25 minutes late, I called again, and was told they could knock a few bucks off my bill, but that was all. Delivery man showed up after 113 minutes and I had already cancelled the order.

Delivery takes a long time (although it is advertised as such). Food is good. I have ordered from them multiple times. They botched my last order (sent the wrong thing, and then an hour later got the rest of the meal), but all the other orders were good. So I recommend.
Posted 3 years ago by Jeffrey B.
Not what I was expecting, I guess. I had the pulled pork sandwich. The meat was tender enough, but the barbecue sauce was watery and tart. I was looking for something a little sweeter and thicker...

Good bbq in the area. Consistent quality.

Took 2 hours for delivery. Called after 1:15 and was told guy was on his way. 45 min later called again and told they didn't know where the delivery guy was and he left 4 min ago. They told me that whether or not I received my order, they would comp it. It came and guy said he left maybe 20 min ago and that it took long b/c they sent him out on foot with 4 deliveries. Food cold and gross and now i need to waste my time calling them to get charge reversed. Like the food in the restaurant but stay away from delivery.

Really tasty Memphis dry rub ribs. Match with mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. The mashed potatoes are butter heavy and the creamed spinach is very creamy, but that makes them delicious. Eating here is an indulgence, so indulge!

Good BBQ - not enough sauce but so tender that you don't miss it all that much.

slow delivery (70 minutes!) and cold food. obviously had been sitting around.
i had to reheat the sweet potato fries - stone cold, and the wings i ordered. it tasted average.

even though I'm less than 10 blocks away, it took an hour for delivery. when I finally got my brisket sandwich, it was cold, soggy, and half overturned in the box with chips. would not order from here again, even though the meat itself was good.
